- Plastic Bags (Ziploc but also just plastic shopping bags)
- Tank Tops (washing and wringing out clothes is tough on them)
- Tuna (the kind in the package with flavoring added)

You have a good blog. You give a detailed perspective of Togo and you personal insights are vivid. It's not easy to live in developing countries and your stories show that you have not only adjusted, but you have thrived.
Like you, when I found myself in the strange land and culture of Bangladesh I couldn't help but put it in print. It was cathartic. If you google, "Bangladesh, Asia's Dirty Little Secret" you will find it.
If you are now in Bangladesh, you won't find it. The government blocked it as "impertinent". I am honored.
